I'm taking my annual sojourn from sunny, warm, South Florida next week to visit the family up in Milwaukee, go to the car show, drink lots of beer, eat tons of cheese, and generally have a good time.
But dear God that's cold. Probably the coldest it's ever been when I've been up there... and this is probably the latest I've ever gone up.
You all may laugh at me below.

Time for a beer jacket!
But seriously bundle up, beer jacket doesn't actually make you warmer be safe out there.

Call me stupid/foolish but it's mid to high 60's here in Alabama and I'd rather be having 10's. I don't like how warm it feels after low tempratures.

Yeah, the differential is gonna be the killer for me. Jumping from the Mid 80's to the teens means it's gonna feel that much colder at first.
And coming back I'll be sweating like none other the first few days.

Yeah, the sudden warm up here is going to cause some flooding. We had 6 or so inches of snow in yards, maybe plus or minus 2 in either directions. We went below 0 to possibly 65 in the span of a bit over a week. Added to that the giant piles of snow that were plowed, and it's going to very wet here for the next week.
